Recent Doings

Good morning-

We have had a busy 2 days.  We trimmed our palm trees and hauled away 4 trailer-loads of seed branches and fronds.  Phew!  That's done for another year.  It showered a bit this morning and the temperature is 70 degrees at 10 am.

Hi everyone-Well-here we are on our RV spot in Wauchula, FL.  We love it here.  The weather has been wonderful-mid to upper 70's everyday.  How is the weather where you are?  Jan haas been knitting and spinning and Allan has been keeping up with RV maintenance.  Our days are quiet-just the way we like it.

We're here!

Hi everyone.  We arrived at our site on Saturday afternoon.  We outran the snow that was forecast down the east coast.  We've been tired so we've been taking it easy.  The weather has been nice-mid 60's to mid 70's.  The motorhome and jeep were covered in dirt so Allan has been busy getting them shiny again.  I'll post a picture of our site (with palm trees) soon. 

Tonight

I'll make this short-I don't this blog to get boring.  We are parked in a Super Walmart parking lot in northern NC.  We wanted to get thru VA in case it snowed.  All we saw all day were trucks spraying liquid on the highway to help them stay clear when it snows later tonight.  More tomorrow....

Tonight

Hello everyone-

Just a quick update.  We are finally back on the road again and we're stopped for our first night in a Flying J in PA on I-81 north of Scranton.  Boy is it cold!  We hit a few snow showers but nothing too thrilling.  We are using our new Verizon "MiFi."  It is a portable wireless connection that is password protected and can work with up to 5 different computers at the same time.  It's about the size of a credit card and just a little bit thicker.  And the good news is that it's $10. a month less than our old air stick.  It works great so far.
